Privacy Policy — Pomodorable

Last updated: February 2026

Pomodorable ("the App") is developed by Aidoo Systems. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

Notification access

The App uses Android's Notification Listener Service to capture notifications that arrive during a focus session while Do Not Disturb is active. This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server or third party. You can revoke this access at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Special app access → Notification access.

Do Not Disturb access

The App controls your device's Do Not Disturb mode during focus sessions. This is used solely to silence interruptions while you work and is restored to its previous state when the session ends.

Analytics and crash reporting

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymised usage statistics and crash reports to help improve the App. No personally identifiable information is collected. See policies.google.com/privacy for details on how Google processes this data.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display interstitial advertisements after completed focus sessions. AdMob may use device identifiers to show relevant ads. See policies.google.com/privacy for details. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google Settings.

Local data

Session history, tomato garden progress, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Android's Room database and DataStore. This data is not uploaded anywhere.
